Code
of conduct
Responsible production
It is essential at Brand4kids, that the working
environment, where our products are manufactured,
is of the highest standards. When we initiate a
working relationship with our suppliers, the
safety and working environment of the worker is
always our main priority. Brands4kids do not
tolerate child labour, discrimination or any
other disrespectful treatment of employees.
But we must also acknowledge, that the producing
countries, in some cases, have a slightly
different cultural perception of responsible
production from ours. That is why we remain in
constant dialogue with our suppliers and
manufacturers. We argue that, a decent work
environment increases productivity and employee
satisfaction, and we are very pleased with the
improvements that our demands help create.
Through continuous supervision, we try to ensure
that our agreements and demands are complied
with. We also demand that our agreements are
complied with, throughout the supply chain, to
conform to our rules for responsible production.

Viable production
At Brands4kids, we are very much aware of
the work being done to reduce environmental
pollutants. This is an ongoing and continuous
process, in which we constantly revise our
responsibilities and assess our suppliers.
Although it is both time and resource consuming,
we are convinced that it is work worth doing,
and that it is the right thing to do, for both
our children's sake and for the sake of the
world we live in. One of our specific areas of
focus, is that our products do not contain
harmful dyes and chemicals. We also emphasize
the importance of using neither nickel, nor dyes
containing heavy metals in our products.
Every year we have a large part of our products
Eco-Tex 100 certified. Eco-Tex certification is
the consumer's guarantee that the product does
not contain harmful substances. Eco-Tex tests
are carried out by independent institutes, and
the requirements are continuously updated to
match the latest research in the field of
medical sciences. |
